Nagpur: New Zealand beat host India by 47 runs, humiliation opening defeat to host team. It seemed an easy win as New
Zealand set a low target of 126 runs to win. 

Over confident Indians reacted poorly by loosing wickets consistently, Ms Dhoni only managed to score 30 runs, one of three Indians who managed to score in double figures. All team was all out on 79 runs.
